About the Forum

Movescape Central Asia is a next-generation international urban forum, created as part of the global movement Sport in Square World. It brings together architects, urbanists, engineers, developers, university representatives, municipalities and creative industries to develop unified standards for designing active, sustainable and inclusive urban environments. The forum has become part of a large cycle developing across Central Asia, Europe and the East. Each country on this route opens its own chapter — from educational initiatives to real urban transformations. Movescape Central Asia is a regional dialogue about the future of cities, held in the format of annual meetings. The forum takes place twice a year in three countries of the region — Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. According to the calendar plan: Tashkent, Uzbekistan — round table, April 21, 2025 (first forum pilot); Almaty, Kazakhstan — forum October 18-19, 2025 (main venue of the year); Tashkent, Uzbekistan — forum November 12-13, 2025; from 2026, the cycle expands: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan — spring block of the forum; Almaty April 8-9, 2026; Tashkent April 30 – May 1, 2026. The cyclicity of meetings is built in an annual rhythm: April, May, October, November — as periods reflecting key phases of the urban cycle: emergence, development, implementation and summing up. The main goal of the Movescape Central Asia 2025 forum is to create a unified platform for dialogue and implementation of SIS Code standards, which form a new language of urban environment quality: from courtyards and parks — to roofs, facades, campuses and public spaces. The forum unites architecture, education, technological solutions and sustainable development values into a holistic ecosystem.
